BJP convinces Jashu Patel to not contest from Visnagar as independent

Visnagar: BJP has placated rebel Jashu Patel who is from Kansa village of Visnagar assembly seat. Upset with the denial of the ticket, Patel wanted to contest as an independent candidate but after meeting with BJP leaders he has been convinced to not do so.
Patel is the president of the Choryashi Patidar community. BJP leader Nitin Patel, the party’s Visnagar candidate Rushikesh Patel, and local community leaders visited Jashu Patel’s residence last evening and held talks with him and his family and convinced him not to contest as an independent and join the campaign of party candidate Rushikesh Patel. Patel was convinced. Nitin Patel last evening went live on his Facebook to make this announcement.
