Over 60 % Voter Turnout at 5 PM as voting for first phase of Gujarat Polls 2022 ends

Gandhinagar: As the voting for the first phase of Gujarat assembly elections came to an end at 5 PM the voter turnout stood at over 60 % approximately.
Voter turnout at 11:00 AM was 19.16% (approx) after the polling process began at 8 am today, and at 1 PM the voter turnout was 34.38%. Later, at 3 PM about 48.48 % (approx) of voter had cast their votes in the first phase of Gujarat assembly polls.
Tapi District has shown the highest voter turnout with 72.32 % followed by Narmada where 68.09 % voter turnout was recorded till 5PM.
