Gandhinagar: Central government’s weather department IMD has predicted light rain in parts of Gujarat on December 15 and 16.

December 15:  Light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Mahisagar, Aravalli, Tapi, Dang, Surat, Narmada, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Amreli and Junagadh.

Dry weather is very likely in the remaining districts of the Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and Diu

December 16: Light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Narmada, Tapi, Chhota Udepur and Dang.

Dry weather is very likely in all the districts of the North Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch; the remaining districts of the South Gujarat region and in Diu, Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli.

In Ahmedabad and the nearby area, it is a partly cloudy sky today. Some parts of the city also witnessed light showers in the afternoon.
