Bahucharaji Mandir gets solar rooftop system of 105 kilowatts

Mehsana: Gujarat Yatradham Vikas Board has installed a solar rooftop system at Bahucharaji Mandir, which would result in a saving of Rs 5 to 7 lakh annually in electricity cost.

The solar rooftop system of a total of 105 kilowatts is installed at the main campus of Bahucharaji Mandir, Vallabh Bhatt Vaw (stepwell), Popat Vasa Dharmashala (boarding) and Bhojanalay (lodging).

It results in a saving of Rs 5 to 7 lakh annually in the electricity cost. It enables electricity production more than usage.

The equipment was fitted one by one on each site within 7 to 8 years. The Mandir also gets a reward from the electricity company for electricity production more than electricity usage. DeshGujarat
