GIS-23: CM Yogi’s team in Gujarat to invite industrialists to invest in Uttar Pradesh

Gandhinagar: In order to make Uttar Pradesh the ‘growth engine’ of New India and invite investors to the GIS-23, Team Yogi, which includes a group of ministers and senior officials, reached Ahmedabad on Thursday morning on a three-day visit to conduct meetings and a roadshow.
Yogi’s team also met the delegation of the Torrent Pharma plant facility at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ahmedabad and explained to them in detail the merits of the state, the opportunities available in different sectors and the progressive policies adopted by the Yogi government to boost investment for all-round development of the state.
Following that, the Chief Minister’s advisors, Avnish Awasthi and Gyanendra Nath Singh visited the plant. On the other hand, ACS Sports and Youth Welfare Department Navneet Sehgal met Jayan Mehta, CEO of TransStadia Group and Amul Group.
Cabinet ministers Arvind Kumar Sharma and Jitin Prasada, as well as minister of state Jayendra Pratap Singh Rathore, are part of CM Yogi’s team in Ahmedabad. The senior officials in the team include ACS MSME and Textile Amit Mohan Prasad, ACS Sports and Youth Welfare Navneet Sehgal, CM Yogi’s advisor Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Gyanendra Nath Singh, YEIDA’s Additional CEO Ravindra Kumar and UPNEDA director Anupam Shukla. They will discuss the advantages of investing in Uttar Pradesh, which is fast emerging as the growth engine of New India.
The Team will meet more than 30 veteran industrialists one-on-one, while many veteran industrialists will participate in the roadshow. This Business to Government (B2G) will start at 10 am on Friday. CM Yogi’s team will inform Ahmedabad industrialists about investment opportunities in the state and encourage them to invest through B2G meeting and roadshow.
