Gujarat HC stays Rajasthan Police from arresting Prantij MLA

Prantij: Gujarat high court on Wednesday granted interim protection from arrest to Prantij MLA Gajendrasinh Parmar.
The bench of Justice Samir Dave kept the Rajasthan Police from arresting Gajendrasinh Parmar, former minister and sitting MLA of Prantij and two others while they are in the state.
The MLA along with Mahesh Patel and Ganpatsinh Zala are booked under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act, for molesting a minor girl. The offence was registered against them by the Rajasthan Police after an order from A court in Sirohi. DeshGujarat
