February 28, 2023
Amdavad: India’s largest Lulu mall will come up in Ahmedabad. The Lulu group, based in the UAE, has announced an investment of Rs 3000 crore in a shopping mall in Gujarat. The formal announcement of the mall’s opening is expected to be made soon.
The Lulu group has already opened malls and hypermarkets in various Indian cities, and they are also going to open another mall in Noida, which will be smaller than the one proposed in Ahmedabad.
In October, V Nandakumar, the Director of Marketing and Communications at Lulu Group, announced that they are in the final stage of acquiring the land needed for the Ahmedabad mall, and the foundation stone for the mall will be laid in 2023.
Reportedly, the Ahmedabad mall will have 300 national and international brands, 15 multiplexes, and a food court with a capacity of over 3,000 people. The Lulu group also plans to include the largest children’s amusement centre in the country and other attractions.
The Lulu group operates mainly in 23 countries across the Middle East, Asia, the United States, and Europe. DeshGujarat
