Gandhinagar: Ms. Jo Prior, Counsellor Australian Border Force (ABF) called on Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Regional Commander, Inspector General AK Harbola, TM at Gandhinagar on Tuesday, 07 March 2023. Issues of common nature and interests were discussed during the meeting.

The relationship between the Indian Coast Guard and Maritime Agencies of Australia especially the Australian Border Force (ABF) has been progressively developing since last decade. From Ship visits to participation in Exercises, Conferences, Seminars, Cooperation in Training and Multilateral Forums; there has been growing coordination between ICG and ABF. The meeting at Gandhinagar has further highlighted continuing cooperation between the two organizations.
