Anupam Rasayan to invest Rs. 670 crore in Gujarat to set up 3 new plants

Gandhinagar: Anupam Rasayan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government to invest Rs. 670 crore in setting up three new plants in Surat and Bharuch in Gujarat.

The company plans to begin operations in these plants by 2025 and expand its product offerings. The plants will manufacture Agrochemicals, Polymers, and Pharma Intermediates.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Anupam Rasayan’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Vishal Thakkar, explained that the company is investing in brownfield expansions, and it expects to see an improvement in margins over the current levels, with an asset turnover of 1.75 times from the new capex.
