Rahul’s childish attempt to bring pressure on court: Law & Justice Minister
April 03, 2023
Surat: Does Rahul Gandhi want to pressurize the Judiciary? Asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today as the opposition Congress party calls for gathering next to the Sessions court in Surat and bringing in Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled States and Priyanka Gandhi there during Rahul’s appeal in Sessions court.

Union Law & Justice minister Kiren Rijiu in his tweets raked up the same issue and pointed out: Rahul Gandhi might be going to Surat to file an Appeal. It is not required of a convict to go personally to file an Appeal. Generally, no convict goes personally. His going personally with a motley group of leaders and aides accompanying him is only a drama. What Rahul Gandhi is doing is also a childish attempt to bring pressure on the appellate court. All courts in the country are immune from such tactics: Law and Justice minister Kiren Rijiju
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala in a tweet said: It is clear as daylight that a brazen attempt is being made by Rahul & family to intimidate the judiciary & amplify the insult of the OBC community by this BHAKTI PRADARSHAN of Congress darbaris
Rahul Gandhi does not need to go personally to file an appeal – the idea to make a spectacle of this only shows
1) Arrogance of SHEHZADA Rahul who has no remorse for his comments against OBCs
2) Attempt to try & intimidate the court
3) Play a victim card & create a narrative against the Indian judicial system
