Live: Unveiling of 54-feet high idol at Salangpur Hanuman Mandir

Salangpur: A 54-foot high idol of Hanumanji is being unveiled at Shree Kashtabhanjan Hanumanji Mandir in Salangpur today. The idol is being unveiled by the head of the organization, Param Pujya 1008 Rakesh Prakash Dasji.

Tomorrow, Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new Bhojanalaya, which has been built across 7 acres in the mandir at a cost of Rs 40 crore. The facility can accommodate up to 5 thousand people for Prasad simultaneously. The cooking in the Bhojanalaya will be done using oil-based technology, without fire or electricity. The Bhojanalaya building covers around 2 lakh 30 thousand square feet and is supported by 250 columns. It has 75-foot wide steps with escalators between them for senior citizens and specially-abled people.
