Martyred jawan given Guard of Honour in his native village in Vadnagar

Vadnagar: The Antim Sanskar (final rites) of martyred jawan Raysangji Javanji Thakor was performed with a Guard of Honour in his native Sulipur village in Vadnagar taluka.
Vadnagar observed a strike today in honour of the martyred jawan. The truck of the Indian Army in which he and other jawans were travelling had drowned in the Tista River in Sikkim on Saturday. Two jawans drowned, one survived, while jawan Raysangji Thakor went missing. His dead body was found after five days of searching.
His dead body was sent to Ahmedabad airport on Thursday night, from where it was taken to Sulipur. His Antim Yatra took place from Malekpur Chokdi to Sulipur from 8 am. A large number of people joined the Antim Yatra. DeshGujarat
