GIDC initiates demand survey for PM MITRA Mega Textile Park in Navsari

Navsari: Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has initiated a demand survey for the Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region & Apparel Park (PM MITRA Mega textile park) in Vansi, located in Jalalpor taluka in Navsari in South Gujarat. The demand survey form has been made available on the GIDC website.
The park will span over 45,68,000 square meters of land and is expected to create 45,000 new employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly through the latest processing units. The industrial belt towards Kim-Pipodra-Mangrol is witnessing growth in this connection. The weaving and embroidery business will be eventually shifted to the vacant areas between Maroli and Ubhrat.
The PM MITRA Mega textile park will offer an integrated value chain of spinning, weaving, processing, embroidery, texturizing, dyeing, digital printing, and garment manufacturing at one location. DeshGujarat
