May 15, 2023
Veraval: About three months after Dr. Atul Chag committed suicide in his hospital here, the local police in Veraval has filed cases against Lok Sabha member of Junagadh constituency Rajesh Chudasama and his father Naran Chudasama who were mentioned in late Dr. Chag’s suicide note. The abatement to suicide crime has been filed against the member of parliament and his father on the basis of an application submitted by the late Dr. Atul’s son Hitarth Chag who had alleged that Chudasama father-son was refusing to return money that had been lent to them by the late Dr. Atul Chag which caused latter’s suicide on February this year. Hitarth had also moved the High Court against police inaction in this case.
