MEA S Jaishankar on two-day visit to Gujarat

Rajpipla: Union External Affairs Minister Dr Subramaniam Jaishankar is currently on a two-day visit to Narmada district.

During his tour of the rural areas in Narmada, Dr S. Jaishankar arrived at Vyadhar village in Tillakwada taluka and laid the foundation stone of a Smart Anganwadi under the MP Adarsh Gram Yojana. He also laid the foundation stone of two Anganwadis in Vyadhar village, emphasizing the significance of rural development.

Continuing his visit, Dr Jaishankar proceeded to an Anganwadi centre in Amdala village, located in Garudeshwar, Narmada district. He personally observed the breakfast provided to the children and actively participated in their activities.


Later on, he visited the Ayushman Bharat Health Centre and distributed MA cards to the beneficiaries, ensuring their access to essential healthcare services. Dr Jaishankar also interacted with the villagers to gather information about any missing links in the village and understand their needs and concerns.
