Vapi: The police investigation has revealed that a contract killer was used in the killing of Shailesh Patel, the Vice President of the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in Vapi Taluka. Shailesh Patel was shot dead on May 8th while he was travelling by car.

It has been learned that the killing was motivated by a family feud, and the accused paid ₹19 lakhs to the sharpshooter. The police have nabbed five individuals Sharad Patel, Vipul Patel, Ajay Gamit, Mitesh Patel, and Satyendra Sinh in the case. Further investigation is going on to nab the shooters. DeshGujarat
