Light thunderstorms likely in parts of Gujarat from June 1 to June 3 and June 5

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light thunderstorms/rains in parts of Gujarat on form June 1 to June 3 and then again on June 5. Strong surface winds 30-40 KMPH gusting to 50KMPH very likely to prevail over the Gujarat region and Saurashtra-Kutch during the period of June 1 to June 5, the IMD further said.
According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha & Sabarkantha,” on June 1.
On June 2nd, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha & Sabarkantha.”
On June 3rd: “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Surat, Valsad, Navsari & in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.”
On June 5th, ” Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30- 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha ,Patan & Mehsana.”
