Two operating a couple box cafe held by Vadodara Police

Vadodara: Amid increasing cases of Love Jihad, Karelibaug police in Vadodara city raided a ‘couple box’ cafe and held two managers operating the facility. The accused are identified as Ramiz Shaikh and Rahil Shaikh. They were allegedly providing the couple box facility in the cafe in which young couples could have sexual activities.
The team of Karelibaug police investigated at a cafe named ‘Dark Bite’ above HDFC bank near Sayajigunj Vishwamitri bridge. They found five couple boxes inside the cafe which is a breach of the norms. The police filed a crime against the managers of the cafe namely Ramij Rafikbhai Shaikh (lives in Pal residency, Tandalja) and Rahil Rafikbhai Shaikh (lives in Jed complex, Bhadrakacheri road, Panigate), and nabbed them.
Vadodara has a huge population of students including single females who come here from other cities, towns, and villages to get an education in MS University. An increasing number of Love Jihad cases have come to light in the city in recent years. DeshGujarat
