Kiran Hospital in Surat becomes first in Gujarat to get hand transplant permission

Surat: Kiran Hospital here in Katargam has become the first hospital in Gujarat to receive permission for a Hand Transplant.
The state health department granted approval for a hand transplant to Kiran Hospital this month. In the past, five patients in the state have donated their hands, and there are currently over 16 patients on the waiting list for a hand transplant. Those interested in getting a hand transplant can contact Dr. Arvind Patel, as mentioned in a note from the hospital. In addition to this, Kiran Hospital has successfully conducted over 100 bone marrow transplants, 30 liver transplants, 100 kidney transplants, and over 350 cornea transplants. DeshGujarat
