Main accused in SG Highway accident case runs YouTube channel named ‘Sickk’

Ahmedabad: Late Wednesday night’s horrific double car accident on Iskon Bridge on SG Highway left 10 dead and 11 injured. In the late-night incident, the main accused, Tathya Patel, rammed his Jaguar car into more than a dozen people standing on the roadside. He, along with others, has been detained at the Sattelite police station as the investigation proceeds.

Tathya Patel, the accused, is the son of a builder who has been accused in several crime cases in the past. Tathya runs a YouTube channel by the name of ‘Sickk’ where he uploads rap songs. Additionally, he has an Instagram account under the same name ‘Sickk,’ where he posted a story 21 hours ago about his new song release that took place yesterday. The song named ‘Chai’ was released at 12 am today. It is suspected that the accused and his friends were celebrating the launch of his song in a cafe house in Makarba last night before the fatal crash.

On his Instagram account, the accused posted pictures with the Jaguar car that was involved in the accident last night. In the post, he can be seen posing with the same car with which he allegedly rammed more than a dozen people, resulting in the death of nine individuals.

The YouTube channel of the accused features three videos, all of them are rap songs performed by Tathya ‘Sickk.’ The names of the songs are Unlove, Safed Jhoot, and the latest one called Chai.

The YouTube account of the accused has around 2300 subscribers, and one of the songs has more than 1 million views. DeshGujarat
