Tathya Patel admits he was driving at 120 kmph speed when an accident occurred; Video surfaces

Ahmedabad: While the media had reported the speed of the car that Tathya Patel was driving as 160 km per hour, there was not any basis to support this claim. The actual speed of Tathya Patel’s car at the time of accident in which 10 persons are dead shall be known only through Forensic analysis and Jaguar company’s own check. However all eye witnesses in one voice say that the car was over speeding.

Now a video has surfaced in which Tathya Patel, a boy on the driving seat himself is admitting that his car was above 120 km per hour speed at the time of the accident. Tathya in this video goes on to say that if he could see the people gathered right on the road, he could apply the brake and stop the car, but he just couldn’t see them. This video is believed to have been captured on the spot of the accident when people thrashed Tathya Patel after his car rammed into the crowd.

It’s worth noting that the permissible highest speed limit on SG Highway is 70 kmph. As per Tathya’s own admission, his car was at above 120 kmph speed. Tathya’s father had yesterday during talks with media persons, refused to believe his son could overspeed a car and he just couldn’t drive a car above 100 kmph speed. However, later a video of the car accident from a biker’s 360-degree camera surfaced, in which the car could be clearly seen over speeding. The biker was passing through the ISKCON bridge in Ahmedabad at the time of the accident.DeshGujarat
