Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has appointed Retired IAS officer Anita Karwal as Chairperson of the Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Karwal was a 1988 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. Her husband Atul Karwal, who is the IPS officer of the same year batch is currently the Director General of the National Disaster Response Force.
