Gandhinagar: After some relief from rain in the last two to three days, some places in Gujarat are battered again by heavy rain today. However, starting tomorrow, which is the 29th of July, only light to moderate rains are forecasted for the state of Gujarat until the 2nd of August.
For Friday, i.e. July 28th, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued warnings for the Chhota Udepur district, marked with a red alert, indicating heavy to very heavy rains at a few places with isolated extremely heavy falls being very likely.
Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Bharuch, Valsad, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli are under an orange alert, indicating preparedness against heavy to very heavy rains being very likely.
Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Tapi, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath districts are under a yellow mark, meaning heavy rains are very likely at isolated places.
No warning is issued for the rest of the districts, such as Kutch, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Morbi, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Mehsana, Patan, Gandhinagar, etc. However, light rainfall may occur in these places as well. DeshGujarat
For Saturday, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at many places in the North, South, and Central Gujarat regions, but only a few places in Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu may receive rainfall.
On July 3o, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of Gujarat.
From July 31 to August 2, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at many places in the North, South, and Central Gujarat regions. However, in the Saurashtra-Kutch region, only Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Junagadh, and Diu are likely to have rains. DeshGujarat
