Youth from Ahmedabad dies in London; Suicide due to financial, career stress suspected

Ahmedabad: Kush Patel, youth from Naroda area of Ahmedabad youth, who had gone to London on a student’s visa nine months ago, and had been missing since August 10 is found dead. Police suspect it was a case of suicide.
Kush’s London friends had lodged a complaint with the Wembley Police. As per CCTV footage and the last location of his phone was found near London Bridge. His dead body was found near London bridge after some ten days. Police confirmed it was Kush Patel’s dead body after DNA test.
Kush Patel had gone to London nine months ago in year 2022 for a Business Management course in a university in London. He faces several issues in London. The college where he was studying had asked him to leave due to non-payment of fees. The issue was later sorted out by his family back in India through education loan. Kush had also faced the issue of lack of work permit. His family had hired a consultant and made payment, but somehow the issue of work permit couldn’t be sorted out. Kush’s visa was to expire soon. The reason of his suspected suicide is believed financial and career related stress.
Kush would remain in regular touch with his friends and family over phone calls. On August 10 he last spoke to a friend and then went incommunicado. Kush had in his last phone call told his friend that he had booked a ticket to India for August 20.
His family contacted his friends in London who went to his Kush’s residence but couldn’t find him. They eventually lodged a complaint with the police, as they couldn’t locate Kush at any possible place. Police had spoken to Kush’s family over a phone call later.
