Six long-distance trains to Ahmedabad extended up to Rajkot

Rajkot: In a move aimed at enhancing rail travel convenience for the people of Saurashtra, the Indian Railways has taken the decision to extend the routes of six trains to now include Rajkot in their itineraries. Previously, these trains were operating to and from Ahmedabad. This announcement was made by Minister of State for Railways and Lok Sabha MP Darshana Jardosh in a tweet.

The following trains have been included in this extension to incorporate Rajkot:

1. Train no. 19421/22 – Ahmedabad – Patna Express

2. Train no. 22967/68 – Ahmedabad – Prayagraj Express

3. Train no. 19413/14 – Ahmedabad – Kolkata Express

4. Train no. 11049/50 – Ahmedabad – Kolhapur Express

5. Train no. 22137/38 – Nagpur – Ahmedabad Express

6. Train no. 12917/18 – Ahmedabad – Hazrat Nizamuddin Contact Kranti Express

This extension aims to make rail travel more accessible and convenient for the residents of Rajkot and whole Saurashtra region as well, providing them with additional options and improved connectivity to various destinations. DeshGujarat
