30,000 cusecs water release from Vasna barrage

Sabarmati: Over the past two days, approximately 13,000 cusecs of water has been released from the Vasna barrage into the Sabarmati River due to recent rainfall in the state over the last three to four days.
Currently, 8,040 cusecs of water is being discharged from the Narmada main canal into the Sabarmati River, in addition to 20,012 cusecs water is coming from the Sant Sarovar Dam.
It is expected that around 30,000 cusecs of water will be released from the Vasna barrage by this evening. The administration has issued a request for residents of villages located along the banks of the Sabarmati River downstream of the Vasna barrage to exercise caution. DeshGujarat
