Inauguration and groundbreaking by PM during Gujarat visit today

Dahod: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to his home state of Gujarat today, inaugurated works worth Rs. 1,426 crores and laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs. 3,079 crores under the ‘Mission Schools of Excellence’ project. The total development works amounting to Rs. 4,505 crores, including 9,088 new classrooms, 50,300 smart classrooms, 19,600 computer labs, and the upgrading of 12,622 classrooms and other educational facilities, were inaugurated or initiated.
In addition to that, projects worth Rs. 251 crores by the Urban Development Department were launched, including the development of Chhab Lake at Dahod at a cost of Rs. 209 crores and the launch of a water supply scheme. The inauguration of PM Awas Yojana Houses worth Rs. 42 crores and the inauguration of 420 houses of EWS-2 category at Sevasi, Vadodara, also took place. Furthermore, there was the inauguration of the Dabhoi-Shinor-Malsar Asa Bridge on the Narmada River, built at a cost of Rs. 225 crores by the road-building department, and the inauguration of a flyover bridge at Godhra, costing Rs. 52 crores. The Department of Science and Technology launched a village Wi-Fi facility for 20 lakh beneficiaries in 7,500 villages across 22 districts of the state at a cost of Rs. 60 crores. Additionally, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Water Supply Department’s Rural Water Supply Scheme (RWSS) at Kwant, to be built at a cost of Rs. 80 crores, took place. Lastly, there was the inauguration of the newly constructed Navodaya Vidyalaya, built at a cost of Rs. 23 crore, and an FM radio studio built at a cost of 10 crores in Dahod. DeshGujarat
