Ahmedabad: Indigo airlines will start direct flight service connecting Ahmedabad and Jaisalmer on daily basis from October 29 this year. Indigo will use a 78-seater aircraft to operate on this route. Currently, there’s no direct flight operating by any operator on this route.

The new flight service to this premier tourist destination of Rajasthan in Diwali vacation and rest of the winter period will boost tourism activities.

The direct flight service will cut the travel hours and bring down the airfare on this route from over The flight for Agra will leave SVPI airport in Ahmedabad at 3:o5 pm and reach Jaisalmer at 5:00 pm. It will leave Jaisalmer at 5.20 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 7.10 pm.
