Last two times when Pakistanis had played Cricket in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: India and Pakistan will clash on the cricket pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium in the city on October 14th as part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The much-anticipated match is likely to be viewed by a live audience of over 1 lakh from the world’s largest stadium with crores watching from home. The Pakistan cricket team will be playing a cricket match in Ahmedabad after a gap of over a decade.

The cricket match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad was last played in December 2012. The date was 28 December. Polling for regular elections in the State had concluded a few days ago and Chief Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government won the election.
