Ahmedabad Airport T2 departure, immigration area expanded

Ahmedabad: The newly expanded immigration area in the departure section of International Terminal T-2 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport was made operational for passengers travelling through it on Wednesday.
According to airport management, this expansion is intended to improve the flow of passengers, particularly during busy hours, and ensure a more streamlined and efficient departure process for all travellers.
The international terminal presently handles approximately 2,500 passenger departures daily, serving 14 destinations worldwide through 17 airlines. The upgraded terminal is equipped with modern amenities and additional counters for immigration checks and verification, reducing waiting times.
Additionally, the SVPI airport’s international terminal now facilitates efficient international-to-international (I-to-I) transfers and offers increased passenger seating capacity. This upgrade aims to enhance the overall airport experience. DeshGujarat
