Gandhinagar: Western Railway has changed the departure timing of Vande Bharat Express train on Ahmedabad – Jamnagar route from 5.55 pm to 6.10 pm. This new timing of departure is effective from today.

Departure time of Vande Bharat Express from Jamnagar is now 5.45 am instead of 5.30 am which came in effect from today. The train that left the Jamnagar at 5:45 am reached the Kalupur Rly station at 10:10 am. While the departure time changed, the arrival time at end stations remains the same.

It simply means that the Vande Bharat Express train on this route now are running faster than before and it takes just 4.25 hours to complete the distance between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar from October 27, compared to 4.40 hours in past. In ideal conditions, the train is now faster by 15 minutes end-to-end.

The train was launched last month. It is the fastest train on this route. It halts at Sanand, Viramgam, Surendranagar and Rajkot railway stations on route. DeshGujarat
