Sabarmati: Sabarmati overbridge near the power station will be shut for traffic after the England-Australia World cricket match, till November 6 for repair and road surfacing. The road was to shut from 3rd November, however, due to the cricket match nearby at Motera stadium, the bridge will now be shut for repair after the match is over.

The bridge connects Sabarmati to the RTO circle. It will be shut from the night of 4 November to 9 am on 6t November. The repair works include resurfacing using the milling method and patchwork. Commuters are asked to use alternative routes in the absence of this stretch. The repair works will be executed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC). The bridge is located over the Ahmedabad-Delhi main railway line, close to Sabarmati railway station and Torrent power station. DeshGujarat
