Bharuch: Bharuch has got a new picnic spot. Matariya Talav, developed by Bharuch Area Development Authority(BAUDA) was inaugurated on November 11 by a local legislator. The spot is located next to Link Road in the central part of Bharuch town. Around Rs. 650 lakh redevelopment of this pond involves beautification, entry gate, parking facility, solar panels, amphitheater, gazebo, food court, dedicated jogging track, forest train, wall, toilet block, sitting arrangement, drinking water, lighting and speakers CCTV camera, food court, gym facility, Yog garden, art gallery, fountain, etc. A basic structure to start a boating facility has also been built.
