Gujarat govt to train teachers for CPR

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government will train all primary and high school teachers across the State for CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training for which the Education department is expected to issue a circular soon.
It is learnt that a mega camp will be organized on 3rd and 17th December. Such camps will be organized at 37 colleges of the State. Over 1.69 lakh teachers and 7,177 H-Tat principals will given training in the first phase.
Recently in a conference, leading cardio doctors of Gujarat have jointly stated that CPR is the first and immediate remedy against cardiac arrest. They had clarified that most sudden deaths linked to heart related issues are due to cardiac arrests. DeshGujarat
