Australian Cricket captain boards river cruise to pose with trophy at Atal Bridge

Sabarmati: A day after winning the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the Australian cricket team members today morning posed for photos with the cup at the Sabarmati river cruise next to the iconic Atal footbridge. The lower promenade of Sabarmati Riverfront and the Atal Bridge were declared shut to visitors till 12.30 pm in this connection by Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd. While Atal Bridge and Sabarmati Riverfront are promoted globally with this photo session, the earlier photo session featuring the captains of two finalist teams, a day before the final match, had taken place inside medieval era Adalaj stepwell in Gandhinagar.
