One side of Shastri bridge in Ahmedabad to shut for four months

Ahmedabad: With effect from December 6, 2023, one side of Shastri Bridge – connecting Vishala to Narol in Ahmedabad – would be closed for major repairs for the next four months. The bridge is located over river Sabarmati.
While two-wheelers, autorickshaws and cars would be able to use one side of the bridge, the heavy vehicles are diverted to Piplaj-Pirana. The repair is being carried out by National Highway Authority of India(NHAI). DeshGujarat
