Streetlights go off in Bharuch, Amod, Jambusar over non-payment of power bills

Bharuch: Street lights in Bharuch, Amod and Jambusar municipality areas of Central Gujarat went off on Monday evening today as these three municipalities have not paid electricity bills to the State government run power distribution company since long. The issue has become a talk of the town. Power connection of Bharuch municipality was cut in January this year also over pending dues. There are over 1,000 street lights in Bharuch that have gone off. DeshGujarat
