CtrlS Group to set up ‘Data Center’ in GIFT City, Gujarat; Groundbreaking performed

Gandhinagar: With the aim of fortifying ‘Vibrant Digital Gujarat,’ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of CtrlS Group’s Gandhinagar-1 Data Center at Gift City today.
CtrlS Group, boasting 12 data centers across 7 cities in India, unveiled plans to invest approximately two million dollars in the AI and data sector over the next six years. CtrlS, aims to enhance Gujarat’s digital economy with its innovative data center, serving as an inspiration for other companies to invest in the sector.
The Chief Minister highlighted the recent inauguration of a Surat Diamond Bourse by the Prime Minister, showcasing India’s robust economy and its attractiveness for global engagement and investment. Amid the presence of numerous finance-tech companies operating in the Gift City, the forthcoming data center is poised to play a pivotal role, he added.
Informing about the enhanced connectivity, including a metro train, the Chief Minister welcomed the new data center in Gujarat and expressed the state government’s readiness to offer necessary support.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Rajiv Trivedi, Director of CtrlS Group, acknowledged the support of the Gujarat Government in embarking on a new chapter through the data center in Gift City.
Vikram Singh, Director of CtrlS Group and retired Major General, conveyed the vote of thanks during the ceremony.
