Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced the Amdavad national book fair from 6 to 12 January at GMDC ground.

A week-long book fair will have 140 stalls of 65 publishers.

Along with the book fair, a children’s film festival will be held during week-end hours 12 to 5 and weekdays from 2 to 5.

Gyanganga workshop will be held from 12 to 3 to develop writing skills among youths.

In Gyanganga sarjak samvad, various authors will interact with readers from 4 to 6 pm.

In Triveni functions from 7 to 10 pm, folk literature, folk music, bhajan, kavi sammelan, mushayra, and talk shows shall be held.

Parking and entry shall be free. Selfie points will be installed and a food court will also be available during the event. DeshGujarat
