Over 300 idols in Ayodhya Ram Mandir made by Dhrangadhra based sculptor & team

Surendranagar: With less than 20 days left until the consecration ceremony at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, a Gujarati sculptor artist Hitesh Sonpura from Dhrangadhra is engaged in creating idols for the temple.
Hitesh Sonpura, along with his team of 25, has been in the temple town of Ayodhya since May of last year. Sonpura has been assigned the task of working on two out of the five Mandaps in the Ram Mandir—the Rang Mandap and Prarthna Kirtan Mandap. Additionally, he is responsible for crafting idols for the Stambhs of the Guddhi Mandap, located just before the Garbhgruh.
Speaking to a newspaper, Hitesh mentioned that they have already crafted 300+ Murtis and several other are in making. The idols he has created range from 1.5 feet to 4 feet, and the total cost of the 300+ idols amounts to Rs 1.5 crore. DeshGujarat
