Gandhinagar: State Industry Minister Balvantsinh Rajput stated today that high-level discussions are underway for potential investment from Tesla, the electric vehicle manufacturer owned by Elon Musk.

Addressing the press conference in the state capital, the minister stated, ‘I want to emphasize that Tesla is in the pipeline.’

Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, had indicated in June of the previous year that he planned to visit India in 2024, and there are reports that he is likely to visit during the upcoming 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.

It is noteworthy that Musk held a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s four-day state visit to the US. Musk expressed gratitude to PM Modi for his support and mentioned an expectation to announce something in the future. DeshGujarat
