ENGIE inks a MoU for setting up 2.5 GW renewable energy projects in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: ENGIE, headquartered in Pune, is planning to set up 2.5 GW renewable energy projects in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 17,200 crore.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government during the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 in Gandhinagar. These upcoming projects will be in addition to the ongoing 400 MW solar project in Surendernagar.
The MoU stated a potential investment of Rs 17,200 crore, and the project will create around 14,000 new jobs. DeshGujarat
