BJP MLA from Dhoraji injured as car hits buffalo on Ahmedabad-Rajkot Highway

Rajkot: BJP MLA from Dhoraji, Dr. Mahendrabhai Padalia, and Rajkot District BJP Secretary, Ravibhai Makdia, met with an accident while traveling on the Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway. Both leaders were in a car around 2 o’clock at night when it collided with a buffalo near Limbdi. Both the MLA and the Rajkot District BJP Secretary were injured.
Limbdi MLA Kiritsinhji Rana immediately reached the spot and shifted both injured individuals to Limbdi Hospital for initial treatment before further medical care. The accident resulted in the destruction of the car.
Dr. Mahendra Padalia had served as Rajkot Civic Body Vice President from 1997 to 2000, Rajkot District BJP President from 2000 to 2005, District Panchayat Member from 2005 to 2010, Human Rights Cell Regional Convener from 2009 to 2011, and Porbandar District Incharge. He was also a Professor of Law Faculty at Saurashtra University from 2011 to 2014, Chancellor of Saurashtra University from 2016 to 2019, and successfully served as the Chancellor of the University in Godhra.
In another case, on Monday, Dhari MLA JV Kakdia’s car was also involved in a bike accident. As MLA JV Kakdia’s family had a wedding, they left Chalala with a convoy of seven to eight cars to go to the nearby resort of Dhari. When Kakdia’s car approached Parbadi, an accident occurred with a bike, injuring a young man named Kishan Mukeshbhai Rathod from the Karjala village of Savarkundla. As Kishan’s wife had gone to her aunt’s house at Dhari, this young man was heading there to meet her. MLA JV Kakdia mentioned that he was in the car behind when the accident happened, and the injured youth was promptly taken to the hospital with his driver from the scene of the incident. DeshGujarat
