License of 2 ferry boat services from Okha to Beyt Dwarka canceled
January 23, 2024
Dwarka: The local authorities have canceled the licenses of two ferry boat services operating between Okha and Beyt Dwarka. The administration has taken this decision as the ferry boats were found to be overcrowded. The licenses of Nil Ganga and Mol Visa ferry boats have been revoked. The boats were overcrowded, and there were no life jackets available for the safety of the travelers on board. The licenses will remain revoked until further orders.
The authorities have been proactive following the recent boat capsizing incident that occurred in Harni Lake of Vadodara, where 14 people, including 12 children, lost their lives. DeshGujarat
