ACB Gujarat nabs RTO agent in bribery case in Modasa

Aravalli: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today nabbed an RTO agent in Modasa in a bribery case involving Rs. 6,500.
The complainant in this case visited Modasa RTO while seeking a fitness certificate for his 12-wheeler truck. At the RTO, the complainant encountered an RTO agent, Imran Hussain, alias Bhuro Muhammad Hussain Tintoya. Tintoya demanded a bribe of Rs. 10,000 to get the fitness certificate for the complainant’s vehicle.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant reported the incident to the ACB. In a subsequent trap set up, the ACB caught the accused red-handed, accepting a bribe of Rs. 6,500. The accused has been detained. DeshGujarat
