Gandhinagar: In a meeting of saints held at Jagannath Mandir in Ahmedabad today, saint Jitendranandaji Maharaj called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the only Hindu ruler in last 1,000 years and also described him as a Chakravarti Samrat. Jitendranandaji is General secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti.

The priest said, “we love Modi and Amit Shah and not BJP. Don’t be in illusion, because there are many atheist leaders in BJP also who have nothing to do with dharma. We love Modi and Shah because in the last 1,000 years, Modi is the only Hindu ruler. We are proud of him. He is a Chakravarti Samrat who has all the virtues of being a Rajarshi.”

In reference to the allegation by Congress party pertaining to “misuse of agencies by government”, the saint said, “There were 22 notices and raids by the Income Tax department targetting Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, but Champatraiji never cried over it and called it a political vendetta, contrary to what Congress party is doing these days. Champatraiji asked to give whatever papers the agency demanded because nothing wrong was done.’

The saint also spoke about the recent judgement of the court allowing pooja at Gyanvyapi in Kashi and said -“we had pledged for Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura. After Ram Mandir’s pran pratishtha mahotsav at Ayodhya, the locks of Kashi also broke. In 1993 puja (at Gyanvapi) was shut by threatening Somnath Vyas and family. Vyas was told that they will be jailed then. A district court judge retiring on 31st January gave a verdict in the afternoon and after a few hours in the night at 1.40 am we rang the bell and started pujaw at Gyanvapi. The name Somnath Vyas is also associated with Gujarat, as he was a Gujarati baba”

In reference to Avimukteshwaranand’s opposition to Ram Mandir’s pran pratishtha function, Jitendranandaji said, ‘A person spreading agenda of Congress party was not invited. A selfstyle Shankaracharya whose asbhishek(installation on the post of Shankaracharya) was stopped by the Supreme Court is abusing Narendra Modi because he is fed with dal roti by Congress money. He claimed that all four Shankaracharya were of same opinion, but the fact was that they wanted a place with their Simhasan in the function, while Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti believed that in the darbar of Ram, all saints are equal.
