February 09, 2024
Rajkot: The family dispute involving cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, which came out in public during the 2022 state assembly election, has now intensified with allegations leveled by Jadeja’s father against Ravindra and his wife, BJP MLA Rivaba Jadeja. Following his father’s interview in a newspaper where accusations were made against Rivaba for the family turmoil, Ravindra responded on social media today, dismissing the claims as baseless.
Anirudh Singh Jadeja, Ravindra Jadeja’s father, accused Rivaba of causing discord within the family, emphasizing their disconnection with Ravindra and his wife. Anirudh Singh Jadeja suggested that their situation wouldn’t be strained if not for Ravindra’s cricketing career. He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by his daughter Naynaba for her brother.
In response, Ravindra Jadeja took to social media, rejecting the one-sided narrative presented in the biased interview. He labeled the allegations as baseless and untrue, expressing dismay at attempts to tarnish his image and defending his wife’s honor. While acknowledging having much to say, Ravindra indicated a preference for keeping certain matters private.
Anirudh Singh Jadeja, in an interview with the newspaper, claimed that three months into the marriage, Rivaba demanded that everything should be in her name. He revealed not having seen his granddaughter in the last five years and alleged that within one month of marriage, Rivaba insisted on registering Jadeja’s restaurant in her name. Anirudh also claimed that Rivaba’s family utilized Ravindra’s money to purchase an Audi and a Rs. 2 crore bungalow. He credited his elder daughter, Nayanba, for playing a significant role in Ravindra’s success. DeshGujarat
