Ahmedabad Airport announces start of City taxi service

Ahmedabad: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international airport in Ahmedabad today announced start of the city taxi service for passengers.
The white cabs with taxi passing in RTO, as part of this service will operate on a metered basis with government-approved rates, the airport announced.
IPS Safin Hasan, DCP of Ahmedabad city traffic police inaugurated this service.
The service will have cars with luggage career on the roof. Each car will have a Puslsar technologies made meter and drivers in white T-shirt uniform.
Highlights:
-11 cars deployed as part of this newly launched service at the domestic terminal.
-The new initiative is through Kishor Chaudhary led City Taxi Jagrut Welfare Association.
– Metered taxi will operate as per revised fare on April 11, 2023.
– The fare for the AC metered taxi is a minimum Rs 33.50 at metre down, followed by Rs 25/km.
– For non-AC taxis it’s Rs 30 at metre down, followed by Rs 20/km. DeshGujarat
