Tharad: In a big announcement for his constituency, local BJP MLA Shankarbhai Chaudhary said Tharad will get Rs. 54.16 crore hospital which will be second to Ahmedabad based Asarwa civil hospital in the State.

Chaudhary informed that Bhumi Pujan for a modern government hospital at Tharad will take place on 4 March.

The hospital will not only have facilities for common medical treatment but will also be equipped for treatment of diseases like Cancer, Kidney and Heart. While the Member of Parliament Parbatbhai Patel got approved Rs. 10 crore for proposed hospital, Shankarbhai Chaudhary who is the member of legislative assembly representing Tharad and current Speaker of the Gujarat Assembly has got approved and added Rs. 40 crore for a modern government hospital in this area.
