Desh kaaj & Dev kaaj both happening speedily today; Vikas & Virasat not in conflict with each other: PM Modi at Tarabh

Deshkaj and Devkaj both are taking place speedily these days, the Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi said today at Tarabh after darshan and puja at a new Valinath Mahadev mandir in Mahesana district of North Gujarat.
PM said Mandirs have been the centers of Gyan and Vigyan. They have been the center to take a person from Agyan to Gyan.
PM admired Rabari community for setting up the facilities of education alongside the Valinath mandir.
PM pointed out that while temples are being built, at the same time hundreds of pakka houses for poor are also being built. A few days ago he inaugurated and launched projects for 1.25 lakh such houses across Gujarat.
PM recalled earlier days of North Gujarat and how the land changed. He especially mentioned Sujalam Sufalam yojana which he launched as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. He said when Sujalam Sufalam was built, even Congress politicians from North Gujarat secretly told him that none can do such development for North Gujarat and it will be remembered for next 100 years.
PM stressed on importance of heritage. He said any country can achieve development by keeping its heritage intact.
He said, post independence, for a long time, a conflict between Vikas and Virasat (development and our heritage)was created. Both were placed against each other as if they were enemies. Only Congress that ruled for decades is responsible for this. PM further said, they dragged Somnath into controversy. They didn’t even wish to install a dharma flag over Pavagadh mandir. They did politics over Modhera Suryamandir also and now when entire country is happy with Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, they are into negativity regarding that also.
PM mentioned recent discovery of 2800 years old human settlement in Vadnagar in the latest ASI excavation and also Dholavira. He said these places are pride of India and we are proud of our prosperous past.
PM said railway tracks, roads are developed India’s pathways. With doubling of railway lines, Banaskantha, Patan will get better connectivity with Kandla, Mundra and Tuna ports and operation of new trains will also be possible.
In reference to IAF runway he inaugurated in Deesa today, PM Modi said it will not just be a runway there. It will be very big center of air defense for India. He recalled how as a Chief Minister he would write repeated letter to then Central government led by the Congress and tried to make Deesa an IAF centre but Congress government did all efforts not to allow it to happen. The Air Force people themselves used to say that the location is important. But Congress government sat on files during 2004-2014.
